Dr. Michael J. and Leslie P. Duckett started Hyper Publishing Company in 2008 after having published numerous books, tapes, and programs. After paying high fees to distributors and publishers, the Ducketts decided to create Hyper Publishing Company to help the independent author retain the rights to their books and more money in their pockets.

The Ducketts learned, like many authors and publishers, through trial and error on production, distribution and marketing as they learned what (and what not) to do to create successful book campaigns. As other authors learned of the Duckett’s success, they began to seek their guidance to navigate through the complicated publishing process. These authors became Hyper Publishing's first clients.

As word of Hyper Publishing's commitment to the success of independent authors and small presses grow, the company attracts authors seeking an alternative to restrictive traditional publishing arrangements. At this time, Hyper Publishing's track record of award-winning design, creative marketing and eye for marketable content has helped secure solid distribution relationships that created a level playing field with the major publishing houses.
